No one should be left behind in the digital age. We’re building bridges for those who’ve been excluded—creating access, skills, and opportunities so that every person, no matter their start in life, has a chance to thrive in an AI‑driven world.
Who We Support
We focus on hard‑to‑reach communities, including:
Young people not in education, employment or training (NEETs)
Care leavers
Prison populations preparing to re‑enter society
Isolated or marginalised individuals in underserved communities
In Jan- March 2025 there were 923,000 NEETs in the UK
13-19 Million Adults over 16 are experiencing some form of Digital Poverty.
AI could displace between 1 and 3 million jobs in the next 10 years.

We see a future where access to digital knowledge is universal, where those who have been excluded can regain confidence and capability, and where technology is a tool for inclusion—not division.
By working with partner organisations, charities, and communities, DHI uses its expertise to make sure opportunity reaches those who need it most.
